The committee provides a platform to Promote Mexican Agri-food products, Gastronomy & its members' expertise in the sector by:

  • Develop cooperation and synergies between Producers, Exporters and local companies.

  • Share information and best-practices, encourage synergies and business opportunities

  • Organize Networking and promotional events

  • Develop specific events to increase its members' exposure in Singapore.

Participation on this committee provides an opportunity to link and meet on a regular basis with experts working within at all levels of the F&B industry, such as manufacturers, importers, traders, retailers and distributors, restaurants and caterers. The Committee also engages regulatory bodies to advocate member interests while assisting members with regulatory compliance.

This committee also strives to generate value creation by supporting and matching food exporters with players in both markets in order to satisfy regional demand and ensuring Food Security in our region.

Manufacturing Global Value Chains and Logistics

The Manufacturing Global Value Chains and Logistics Committee strives to act as an information sharing and advocacy platform, providing opportunities for professionals within the Manufacturing and Logistics Industries to discuss industry events, policy and regulation updates, best practices and other relevant industry information with the goal of advancement of members’ businesses within the SM-SEA region.

The Committee promotes best practices and lessons learned and seeks to bring the industry’s best practitioners together in order to provide a platform for synergy generation in topics such as production, transportation, and warehousing as well as enabling related aspects such as the supply chain upstream and downstream network, data management, regulatory issues in the Mexico, Singapore and ASEAN region.

Participation in this committee is particularly relevant for companies in search of opportunities in the SM-SEA region, but also for Singaporean and regional companies seeking to participate in global value chains in North and South America, where Mexico is an attractive destination for strategic investments, due to its vast FTA network and in particular the USMCA.

IT and Digital Innovation

The Committee provides a forum, interaction and advocacy platform to address current issues, trends in innovation & technology across industries. Committee exchanges focus on emerging technologies, disruptive business models, approaches to innovation, the regulatory environment in SM-SEA region.

The committee as a forum provides a platform to exchange ideas, insights and opportunities for members to better address regional challenges through the use of technology, navigating local and regional IP regulations and identifying and creating cross-cultural solutions to common shared problems.

Infrastructure, Trade and Finance

The Committee’s mission is to provide a platform for interaction and advocacy of relevant information in order to increase awareness on Investment opportunities, information exchange, relevant issues, sharing resources, access of contacts, and source business opportunities with the financial services community.

The Committee aims to act as an interface between financial institutions on the SM-SEA region, members of the Chamber, regulators and industry members, exchanging opportunities in a proactive way and exposing views on issues requiring potential advocacy to local or regional authorities.

The work on this committee promotes and facilitates the matchmaking of investors with key infrastructure projects in the region while also providing a solution to trade financing needs, improving trade and investment conditions on the SM-SEA region.

Community Outreach

This Committee represent the service oriented branch of the chamber, and its purpose is to materialize its mission in service of the SM-SEA Chamber’s members through the promotion and execution of its programs, services, events and activities

The outreach function of the Committee focus on addressing the professional needs of the Chamber members by providing a platform for networking, professional actualization and opportunities to keep up with current trends and best practices and opportunities to develop networking, leadership and human capital related opportunities within the SM-SEA region, with the objective of addressing the needs of the SM-SEA business community as a whole.
